Hi hello I have another podcast, surprise surprise! Yes We Cannabis: A Journey into Medical Marijuana is my new lil solo(ish) creative project where I’m going to be diving into the world of Medicinal and Medical Cannabis and how it changed my perspective on life. My trades have been eclectic—stage actor, bartender, server, farm hand to manager of a farmers cooperative, Christmas tree and soil workhorse, back to server, garden center and now medical cannabis consultant soon to be Union Apprentice— and every industry had taught me more about the world than all my formal education has tenfold.

These real world lessons come with consequences often and this last year I have been in deep recovery mode from crashing into a depression fueled burnout which forced me to face my mental health head on in a way I never had before, and I know for a fact it would have been what feels like am impossible task without cannabis there to help me heal.

The past year has been the hardest of my wild life thus far but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Through the tools of therapy(IFS specifically), pharmaceutical prescriptions, somatic practice and cannabis, I feel more connected to myself and passionate about my life and what I want it to look like. And that includes talking about medical marijuana🌱

The industry is still new and is about to boom in this country and it’s time to deconstruct the stigmas, oppression and history of the communities that use cannabis and why I believe it needs to be on forefront of preventative therapeutic care in the US. The cannabis world is full of some of the most creative, passionate, intelligent and empathetic people and they deserve to have their stories told.

So join me on this adventure into the ever taboo topic of weed, ganga, pot, reefer, bud, kush, herb—whatever floats your boat🍃 it’s truly a journey, man✌🏼
